Encanto-Palmcroft.

Winding streets, individual architecture, and a park-side setting.

Explore the district’s homes and setting, then take a practical look at buying or selling here.

Put it in context

A neighborhood shaped by its landscape.

Encanto-Palmcroft combines varied residential architecture with curving streets and a close relationship to Encanto Park. Its neighborhood preservation association describes homes in Spanish Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Mediterranean, Ranch, and Art Deco styles. Together, the houses and their settings make the streetscape as important as any single façade.

The city describes the district generally between Seventh and 15th avenues, McDowell Road, and the northern boundary of Encanto Park and Golf Course.

Encanto-Palmcroft, Encanto Manor, and Encanto Vista are separate city-listed historic districts. A home described simply as “Encanto” may fall in a different district; use the map and the property’s records to confirm.
